ISSUE 35 - Movement & Trust

Trust exists in the space between who we were and who we’re becoming. Between what we’re trying to build and what is quietly being built for us. Between our most intimate relationships and friendships, our dreams, and all of the unknowns that can make life feel a little scary. It is trusting that everything is unfolding exactly as it is meant to, even when you have no idea how it’s all going to come together.

To me, trust is the thread woven throughout every movement pathway within our system and throughout every season of life.

It is trusting who we are becoming.  Trusting where we are going.  Trusting the unfolding.  Trusting the things that fall away.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve been learning is trusting what my body can already feel is building before my eyes can fully see it.  I can feel momentum.  I can feel pieces beginning to align.  I can feel something shifting.

Yet when I begin to feel that momentum, an old version of me still wants to know exactly how everything is going to unfold. It wants certainty because certainty once made me feel safe. I wanted to anticipate every next step and understand every piece of the puzzle before it happened.

But the beautiful thing about trust is that when you don’t know exactly what is unfolding, you leave space for the universe to create something even greater than you could have imagined yourself.

In the manifestation world, trust is one of the most talked about principles, yet it is also one of the hardest to truly live.  Understanding the concept is one thing.  Living it is something entirely different.  When your emotions are involved, when life is changing, when relationships are evolving, when opportunities are beginning to appear but you can’t quite see where they’re leading, trust becomes an active practice instead of simply an idea.

I’ve realized that so much of this journey is about becoming the person who has the capacity to hold the life you’re asking for.  To hold the love.  To hold the opportunities.  To hold the success.  To hold the peace.  To hold the manifestation that the universe is trying to deliver.

Sometimes the uncomfortable seasons aren’t signs that something is wrong. They’re invitations to expand.  They’re asking us to move through discomfort instead of avoiding it. To create new habits, new perspectives, and new ways of living that align with the person we’re becoming.

Because as your life expands, your old identity can’t come with you, not all of it.  You’re asking for a new life.  A new relationship.  A new career.  A new version of yourself.

As one area of your life grows, the rest of your life naturally begins to evolve as well. Things that once fit no longer do. Relationships, habits, beliefs, or patterns that once served you may suddenly feel heavy because they no longer belong in the life you’re creating.

This is exactly why I’ve continued to lean on the seven movement pathways, not because they remove uncertainty, but because they give me a way to move through it.  No matter what season I’m in, whether life feels beautiful or incredibly challenging, these pathways continue to ground me.

Your soul is never finished growing.  It is never finished evolving.  It will never stop inviting you to release what no longer serves you and step into what does.

To me, this is why healing and manifestation will always go hand in hand.  Healing creates the capacity.  Manifestation fills the space that healing creates.

This is also why creating intentional check-in points with yourself is so important. Looking honestly at what is working, what isn’t, and where life is asking you to grow allows you to stay aligned with your next evolution.

Your soul will never stop asking you to expand.  It will never stop making you aware of what no longer fits.  And it will never stop placing dreams on your heart that were meant specifically for you.

Trusting the unfolding has been one of the hardest lessons of my own journey.  I can feel things moving.  I can feel momentum building.  I can see little pieces of the puzzle coming together.  Yet there is still a part of me that reaches for certainty because certainty has always felt like safety.  That’s exactly why I return to these movement pathways over and over again.  Not because I don’t trust.  But because they help me remember how to.  They help me reconnect to myself, to my body, to my soul, and to the quiet knowing that I don’t have to control every outcome for everything to unfold exactly as it’s meant to.

If you’re in a season that feels overwhelming, pay attention.  The things that truly belong in your life will continue to feel aligned.  The things that no longer belong will begin to drain you.  Sometimes that’s a relationship.  Sometimes it’s a pattern.  Sometimes it’s the way you’ve always approached work, family, or even yourself.

Change can feel uncomfortable, but it’s also what creates space.  Space for new opportunities, for deeper relationships, for greater peace.  Space for the universe to deliver what couldn’t fit into the version of your life you were holding onto before.

Movement will always create momentum.  But movement without trust becomes control.

It becomes forcing.  Gripping tighter.  Searching for certainty.  Trying to make life happen instead of allowing yourself to move with it.  Movement with trust feels entirely different.  It creates alignment and openness.  It allows you to take the next step without needing to see the entire path.

The older I get, the more I realize the universe has never asked me to have every answer.  It has simply asked me to keep moving.  To keep releasing.  To keep becoming.

And to trust that every aligned step is preparing me for a life more beautiful than I could have planned on my own.
