ISSUE 42 - When the Universe Turns Up the Volume

This week felt like the universe had turned the volume way up.  When life feels smooth and aligned, I can usually move with it. I can bend, flow, trust. But life rarely stays in one rhythm for long. There are constant seasons of change, constant reminders to loosen my grip and trust the guidance in front of me.

This week, that shifting between alignment and uncertainty felt especially loud.  There were moments when the timing of things felt almost impossible to ignore. Certain events happened in sequences I never could have orchestrated myself. Messages showed up through people, through conversations, through my phone, at exactly the moment I needed them.  Those are the moments that make me feel like there is something larger moving in the background.

And then there is the other side of that relationship with the universe.  The part that asks you to let go of control.  The part that asks you to trust God, Source, the universe, whatever language feels true to you, even when you do not understand what is unfolding.  That part is much harder.  Especially when something hits close to home.

There have been moments this week when the unknown has felt incredibly scary. Moments when my mind wants to move ten steps ahead, fill in the blanks, predict an outcome, create certainty where certainty does not yet exist.  Multiple times, I got on the walking path and let the emotions move through me.  I cried while I walked.  I let myself feel the fear instead of trying to reason my way out of it.  And eventually, after the emotion had somewhere to go, I could feel myself settling back into strength, purpose, and trust.  Not because I had all the answers.  But because I remembered that the ideas in my head are not necessarily what is true. Fear is not always intuition. The story I am creating is not always the story that is unfolding.

Sometimes the only thing I can do is stay in relationship with the moment in front of me and keep moving.  At the same time, there was so much expansion happening.  I had several incredible business conversations this week that opened up ideas I was not planning to explore yet. Things that felt like they belonged further down the road suddenly started calling my name.

And it reminded me how often the universe seems to move through other people.  Someone says one thing.  An idea gets shared.  A question gets asked.  And suddenly something sparks inside of you that sends you down an entirely new path of creativity and expansion.  That is one of the most beautiful parts of continuing to move.  Movement gives you feedback.  Feedback gives you clarity.  Clarity creates the next step.  And sometimes the next step is completely different from the one you thought you were going to take.

But this week also made me ask a deeper question, what if expansion and grief can exist in the same breath?  What if the universe can feel incredibly close while life still feels painfully human?  What if you can feel spiritually aligned and deeply excited about where your life is going while simultaneously questioning what is happening around you?  Both can be true.

I think this is one of the harder parts of manifestation and spiritual alignment.  If we lean too heavily into fear, the body can become overwhelmed. We freeze. We stop moving. We close ourselves off from possibility.  But if we bypass the fear completely, we miss the information inside it. We miss the lessons, the growth, and the opportunity to actually process what life is asking us to move through.

Healing and manifestation have to coexist.  We have to be willing to feel what is here while still remaining open to what is possible.  That is the tension.  That is the work.  And maybe that is also where capacity is built.

The growth expands our capacity. It strengthens the container we need for the life we keep saying we want.  Sometimes life stretches us slowly.  Sometimes it shakes us hard enough that growth happens faster than we would have chosen.  But either way, we are being asked to become someone capable of holding more.  More love.  More uncertainty.  More opportunity.  More responsibility.  More joy.  More grief.  More life.

I keep reminding myself that the universe, God, Source, whatever language you use, is still moving with me.  My job is not to control every outcome.  My job is to stay open.  To feel what needs to be felt.  To keep moving the energy.  To notice what is asking for my attention.  And to keep choosing alignment when fear would rather have me freeze.

Sometimes the deepest seasons of pain and uncertainty also reveal how deeply we are capable of loving.  And when I look through the lens of love, movement, and possibility, I notice the miracles again.  Small and big.  Every single day.

Move. Manifest. Become.
