ISSUE 40 - Becoming the Person Who Can Hold it.

This past week gave me so much to celebrate, personally, professionally, and in the quiet spaces in between.  This weekend, we rented a beach house for my daughter’s birthday. She didn’t want anything elaborate. She wanted something intimate, one of her friends, playing in the sand, being by the ocean, relaxing and celebrating together.

There was something so beautiful about the simplicity of it.  Being present with her, watching her enjoy exactly what she had asked for, and allowing myself to really take in those moments reminded me that so much of abundance is not about constantly reaching for what is next.  Sometimes it is about recognizing what is already here.  At the same time, another part of my life has been experiencing a very different kind of expansion.

Over the last week, there has been a noticeable shift in the momentum behind Manifest in Motion.  Things I have spent months building, refining, thinking about and working on behind the scenes are beginning to take physical form. Speaking opportunities. Product development. New partnerships. The expansion of the Manifest in Motion ecosystem. Studio to Shore becoming more and evolving into something I can teach, facilitate and continue to grow.  It feels like pieces that have been moving quietly beneath the surface are finally beginning to rise.

And it made me think about timing.  Because the woman who began building this is not exactly the same woman who is standing here today.  My nervous system is more regulated.  My confidence is different.  I am clearer about what I want to create and where I want to take it.  I understand the direction of Manifest in Motion on a much deeper level.  I am more discerning about the opportunities I pursue and the people I allow into the vision.  And when I look at it from that perspective, I can see why certain things did not happen sooner.

We can become incredibly frustrated when we feel like we are doing the work but aren’t yet seeing the manifestation.  We ask for the opportunity.  The relationship.  The expansion.  The business.  The next chapter.  And then we wonder why it isn’t here yet.  But something I continue to learn is that receiving something and being able to hold it are two very different things.  There are moments when the thing we desire may require us to become someone slightly different first.  Not inauthentic.  Not perfect.  Just expanded.  More regulated.  More grounded.  More confident.  More capable of sustaining what we have been asking to receive.  That is where the Identity Pathway becomes so important.

Manifestation isn’t only about asking, visualizing or repeating a better mantra.  There is an embodiment piece.  Who are you becoming while you wait?  What are you strengthening?  What are you releasing?  What can no longer come with you into the life you’re asking to enter?  For me, so much of that work happened through the smallest Manifest Steps.  One conversation, walk, email, uncomfortable decision, new connection… One idea written down and revisited months later.  None of those moments individually looked like some enormous manifestation.  But collectively, they created movement.  And movement changes us.

Moving my body has also been one of the greatest tools I have had for closing the distance between who I was and who I am becoming.  Movement has helped me process what couldn’t come with me.  It has helped regulate my nervous system when my mind wanted to rush ahead.  It has helped me reconnect with the vision when I couldn’t yet see evidence of it.  And it has given me a physical place to practice becoming.  That is one of the reasons I believe so deeply in what we are building through Manifest in Motion.  Movement is a bridge.

A bridge between healing and expansion.  Between the identity you have lived from and the one you are stepping into.  Between the life you currently know and the life you are trying to create.  Because the life you are experiencing today is, in many ways, the result of the habits, environments, choices, patterns and movements you have been practicing.

If you want something different, you will eventually have to move differently.  You may enter different rooms.  Have different conversations.  Create different habits.  Take different risks.  Release things that once felt comfortable.  And choose actions that align with where you are going rather than where you have been.  It is a co-creative process.  There are things we cannot control.  There is timing we cannot force.  But there is also the part that belongs to us.  We can continue becoming.  We can continue moving.  We can continue creating capacity for the life we say we want.

This week felt like one of those beautiful moments where I was able to turn around and see evidence of all the tiny steps that came before it.  And I think that is important too.  Reflection is part of manifestation.  We can become so focused on the next milestone that we forget to recognize when something we once prayed for, envisioned or imagined has already started happening.

There are still so many things building behind the scenes for Manifest in Motion.  There is so much I want to create.  And I know this is nowhere near the final destination.  But this week felt like a marker.  A new wave.  A moment where I could see that the timing wasn’t wrong.  There was simply becoming that needed to happen first.

And some of the most intimate, beautiful moments of this entire journey have come from watching those tiny pieces unfold and allowing myself to celebrate every single one of them.

So this week, I want you to reflect on this:  What if the time between asking and receiving isn’t empty?  What if it is where you are becoming the person who can hold what you asked for?

Look at where you were six months ago.  A year ago.  Even a few weeks ago.  Notice the conversations that are different.  The boundaries that are stronger.  The decisions that feel easier.  The rooms you’re entering.  The things that no longer trigger you in the same way.  The things you are finally brave enough to pursue.  There may be more evidence of your becoming than you realize.

Keep moving.  Keep becoming.  And don’t forget to celebrate what is already beginning to arrive.

Move. Manifest. Become.
