Issue 46 - When the Next Step Appears

There was an undercurrent of movement this week unlike anything I have felt in a long time. Some of the biggest breakthroughs. Things that have been building quietly in the background. High-intensity moments surrounding a court date. And yet, through all of it, there was this almost undeniable cloak of trust and release.

It was one of those weeks that made me stop and look back.  I recently had the opportunity to look at a vision board I created in 2021, and it was incredible to see what I had been imagining then compared to what is actually unfolding in front of me now.  The timing.  The dates of opportunities.  The locations.  Being exactly where I need to be when something presents itself.  The work that has been happening behind the scenes suddenly beginning to take physical form.  It is incredible to witness what God, the Universe, Source can deliver when you are living in trust and alignment while still taking actionable steps toward the life you are creating.  It almost feels like the next steppingstone appears perfectly in front of you. And eventually, you begin moving at a pace where you are no longer frantically searching for the next step.  You simply trust that when it is time to take it, it will be there.  That is what this week felt like.  And I am beyond excited for my life, for what is ahead, and for everything that has been quietly building.

The movement this week wasn’t only happening around me.  I could feel it physically happening within me too.  I walked more than usual. I bounced around my kitchen. I let my arms sway from side to side. I stretched. I got on my walking pad early in the morning and let whatever needed to come up, come up.  Because Tuesday held an enormous amount of emotion.  After the court hearing that day, the emotional and physical exhaustion I felt was almost indescribable. There were things that needed to be spoken about again that were deeply traumatic from my previous marriage and from the last five years of court proceedings. Experiences my mind remembers, but my body remembers too.  And having to bring those experiences back to the surface, speak them out loud, and sit inside the uncertainty of what would happen next carried a physical weight. It reminded me, again, why movement has become such an important part of my life.  Because these moments don’t only happen in our minds.  We experience them in our bodies.  Our shoulders hold them.  Our breathing changes.  Our muscles tighten.  Our energy shifts.  Our bodies can become exhausted from carrying emotions our minds are trying desperately to process.  So I listened to mine.

I took a long Epsom salt and bubble bath. I stretched when I woke up. I walked on my walking pad and allowed the emotions to move through me rather than convincing myself I needed to immediately feel better.  Sometimes there were tears.  Sometimes there was exhaustion.  Sometimes I simply moved.  And then, when I felt ready, I would put on one of my confidence and empowerment playlists.  Not because the harder emotions needed to disappear.  Not because I needed to pretend what I had experienced wasn’t painful.  But because I wanted to remind my mind and my body of something equally true: We are not there anymore.  I am not the same woman I was five years ago.  I am not the same woman I was inside that marriage.  I can feel grief, fear, exhaustion, anger, relief, hope and empowerment inside the same body.  And that body has carried me here.

There was something incredibly powerful about allowing myself to physically move through what had happened and then moving with the woman I am now.  Standing taller.  Breathing deeper.  Letting my arms take up space.  Walking forward.  Reminding myself through movement that I am empowered. I am knowledgeable. I trust myself. And I am building a life the woman I was years ago could not yet have imagined.

And maybe that is another layer of trust we don’t talk about enough.  Trusting your body.  Listening when it asks you to slow down.  Listening when it needs movement.  Listening when it needs rest.  Allowing emotion to exist without letting it convince you that you have somehow gone backward.  Because expansion does not mean we stop having human reactions to what we have lived through.  Sometimes expansion means having the capacity to feel all of it without abandoning ourselves inside of it.  And as I watched so many things begin aligning externally this week, I realized my body was part of that alignment too.  This is what Manifest in Motion has continued to teach me:  We don’t just think our way into a different life.  We move with ourselves into it.

And as I watched so many things begin aligning externally this week, I realized my body was part of that alignment too.  One of the biggest tangible moments this week was finally seeing our Manifest in Motion holding page go live.  ManifestInMotion.com was a domain I had to acquire through a bidding process. Even that was something that, for a period of time, was completely up in the air.  Would we get it?  Would this become the home for everything I could already see so clearly in my mind?  And now, after months of photography, brand shoots, design work, tweaking, conversations, finding the right web developers, and choosing the team I wanted beside me, it is real.  It is live. And as we continue building the full website, other pieces seem to be gaining momentum at a pace greater than I could have imagined.

I have also been working deeply on the 49 day Becoming Guide.  And somewhere in that process, I started realizing that there was much more happening on those pages than I originally understood.  There was more of my past.  More of my story.  More depth.  More teaching.  And more material that belonged not only in the guide I am creating, but in the book I know I am meant to write. It almost felt like I had been creating both at the same time without fully realizing it. That awareness opened the door to new conversations, new introductions, and the possibility of moving both projects forward simultaneously, much sooner than I had imagined.

And then, the day after our holding page launched, another opportunity appeared. One connected to stepping into greater visibility and onto a much bigger stage. I cannot share much about it yet, and there is absolutely no guarantee that the opportunity is mine.  But that isn’t even the part that stopped me.  It was the timing.  The dates perfectly aligned with something else that had already placed me in that exact city.  Something I could not have orchestrated if I tried.  Again, the timing.  The alignment.  The way things seem to be meeting me exactly where I already am.

And I think that is what continues to deepen my understanding of trust.  Alignment does not mean that every opportunity becomes yours.  Trust does not mean knowing exactly how everything will unfold.  Manifestation does not mean controlling the route.  Sometimes the alignment is simply in being shown that you are moving in the right direction.  The next door appears.  The introduction happens.  You find yourself in the right place at the right time.  You notice how pieces you could never have connected on your own somehow begin finding one another.  And instead of gripping tighter, you learn to move and release.  Move and release.  Take the step and let go of the outcome.

So much of what I have written about here and so much of my own relationship with manifestation, God, Source, and the Universe, comes back to that rhythm.  Movement and surrender.  Action and trust.  Intention and release.  We are constantly being asked to expand into a new version of ourselves while simultaneously letting go of our need to dictate exactly when, where, and how everything must happen.

Every new day presents an opportunity for expansion.  An opportunity to be fully inside the life that is happening right now while still moving toward everything that is calling you forward.  And sometimes, when you stop trying to control the entire path, you begin noticing what has been unfolding around you all along.  The things you once wrote down.  The life you once imagined.  The opportunities you once wondered if you were capable of holding.  Suddenly, pieces of them are standing directly in front of you.  Not always in the exact form you expected.  Sometimes better.  Sometimes bigger.  Sometimes arriving through a route you never would have chosen for yourself.

And maybe that is part of the miracle.  Not simply receiving what you asked for.  But becoming the person who can recognize it when it arrives, take the next step when it appears, and trust enough to leave the rest of the path unseen.  Because this week reminded me that we do not just think our way into a different life.  We move with ourselves into it.  We listen, feel, act, release… We let our bodies catch up to the expansion our lives are asking us to hold.  And then we keep going.  Move.  Manifest.  Become.  And watch what unfolds.
